The tasting team concludes this week its route designations of origin
Madrid, June 11, 2012. – The team tasting the Penin Guide to the Wines of Spain continues to evaluate the wines featured in its 2013 edition. The next stop on this long road is the DO Vinos de Madrid. The tastings, led by Carlos Gonzalez, director of Penin Guide, will take place at the headquarters of the Council of the designation of origin on 12 June.
In the 2012 edition of the Penin Guide to the Wines of Spain, OJ said this: “No one believed a few years ago in the ability to produce great wines in the Community of Madrid and even less in the west of the province, the more pastoral, rugged and also with the burden of her tight cooperation. (…) The 2010 vintage wines this year sheds more suggestive than the previous harvest, with a contribution greater fruit and freshness that softens the high level of the wines from this area of the DO. By contrast, the 2009 vintage is manifested with something warm and even features preserved and a palate that suffers from an excess of wood. “
With the tastings of the 2013 Guide, last January also began a new season of “Road Penin Guide to the Wines of Spain”, the online video program that is broadcast through the website Guiapenin.com . In addition, this year published the most significant advances of tastings throughout the year exclusively to subscribers of the Penin Guide Multichannel (Guiapenin.com).
